Background
Mike Taylor started Lotusbits in 2005 when a hobby, re-building his Lotus Elite, evolved from stripping parts for his own use, to supplying used parts for other Lotus enthusiasts, notably 900 series engine cars. Today Lotusbits hold probably the largest inventory of used Lotus 900 series parts in the world and offer their customers.
This side of the business flourished and to meet customer demand, Lotusbits also stock an extensive range of new parts.
Mike’s background as an electronic engineer, designing engine management systems and his passion for rallying have allowed Lotusbits to develop and thoroughly engineer many new and refurbished parts many of which are tested in competition.
With Dave Sharp managing the increasingly busy service and restoration side of the business and Matt Preston looking after parts, Lotusbits offer a full range of services to classic Lotus owners.
